Tuesday August 30th: Connection Carnival “Spread the Love” Event

Find our table on the GMU Fairfax campus (JC North Plaza, outside) for some free breakfast goodies like PBJ or Nutella sandwiches. Udi’s Gluten-free foods sent us a TON of free delicious GF baked goodness, so come try it out too! 🙂

Saturday September 3rd: The HUNT @ Mason

We’re baking about 200 of Scott O’Byran’s famous caramel Bailey’s cookies for this event and if you haven’t tried them yet, you should. They’re amazing. To participate, check out The Hunt’s Facebook page here: http://www.facebook.com/event.php?eid=148947841851717

Cooking Classes with GMU Executive Chef Peter Schoebel

The schedule for these classes is coming soon. They will be on select Mondays during the semester, from 5-7PM. Peter is an elite chef, and yet totally down to earth. Did I mention extremely knowledgeable and very good at what he does? Look forward to these classes; they will be incredible, and will be filmed by the exceptional Ashlee Duncan and her Mason Cable Network crew, so Mason students who can’t attend can still enjoy them!

Swing Dance with MCN

September 21st: We catered a lovely dance for Mason Cable Network and wished Ashlee Duncan a happy birthday! Meatballs, shrimp, and nutella-filled animal cracker sandwiches enticed dancers, while 7-cheese tortellini skewers powered students the whole night.

Halloween Dance with Ballroom Club

October 28th: Ever drink an amazing punch shrouded in a curtain of fog and cooled by dry ice? What about eaten a dirt cake that looked like a graveyard rising from smoky tendrils? The food was delicious, the costumers were amazing, and the company was outstanding.

Gourmet pizza, CAFE-style

On November 18th, we took over Pilot House to make gourmet pizzas FROM SCRATCH with the expert guidance of Chef Peter, and the support of Mason Dining. We went all out: fresh mozzarella, excellent flour, and exotic ingredients like salmon, anchovies+roasted garlic, or even blueberries! It was a blast.
